This is a beautiful tropical flavored smoothie. A real treat.
It is high in fruit so you may wish to ration yourself to a small glass and store the rest in a covered jar in the refrigerator. Add a splash of lemon juice if you are concerned about it discoloring.
The recipe serves 2-4, and will half easily if you are the only one who drinks smoothies in your house. That said, it’s so tasty others will want their share, too, lol!
If you need a filling smoothie you can add some yogurt and oats. Don’t be afraid to adjust the recipe to suit your own or your family’s preferences.
And for the sneaky mom wanting her family to eat more vegges, try adding a couple of carrots to the mix. They will hide beautifully in this vibrant orange-colored drink.
The recipe is from Caroline at CarolinesCooking, who says it has a nice …
… natural sweetness and freshness … a tropical fruit explosion in your mouth. Delicious, easy and good for you. I for one will be making this again …
