Recipe: Blueberry Coconut Smoothie from 140 Calories
Serves 2-3; 140-210 cals
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup Wild Blueberries, frozen, plus extra for topping
- 5.3 oz / 150 g Greek nonfat Blueberry Yogurt*
- ½ large red Apple, quartered (do not peel)
- 4 large fresh Basil leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
- 1/8-teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 1 small frozen Banana
- 2 tbs natural Greek Yogurt*, nonfat (16.5 cals)
- 5.3 oz / 150 g Greek nonfat Coconut Cream Yogurt* (90 cals)
- Ice cubes
Optional:
1 cup Water, or sufficient for your preferred consistency
1-3 teaspoons Honey, if required, 21 cals per tsp.
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
* Note: nonfat yogurts vary in their calorie-count, and can easily be confused with low fat varieties. If calories matters to you then check the labels carefully. Our calorie calculations were based on the brand we used.
