A smoothie can be filling and replace a meal or it can gives a little boost of deliciousness as a snack at any time of day.
This tasty smoothie recipe is from Julia at SavoryTooth. Julia wanted a change from her usual green smoothies and decided orange was the way to go. She says …
I decided to try an orange smoothie. That is, a carrot-based one. This change was influenced by my need to include more carrots in my diet for my eye health, and also had an unexpected but very noticeable benefit on my digestion. This orange smoothie is a great idea if you’d like to change up your morning smoothie routine. And this goes without saying, but the carrot flavor is pretty much completely masked by the fruit yet doesn’t taste too sweet. It’s a great balance.
