I don’t know about your house, but things can be pretty manic in the morning in ours. And while it’s great to have tasty smoothies with an interesting ingredients list, it’s important to have simple yet tasty smoothies that are quick and easy to make.
Of course, one way around the morning rush is to prepare the fruit for your smoothie in advance. Buy frozen fruit or peel and chop it the evening before you need it and freeze it in single layers ready to toss it into the blender in the morning. That way all you have to do in the morning is to add your chosen liquid, protein, healthy fat and fiber to your fruit and blend.

Coconut water! I’m obsessed with the stuff, and always keep it on hand as a nice natural source of electrolytes to drink during and after workouts. But as it turns out, coconut water also is the perfect light tropical liquid for blending up smoothies!
