This tasty 3-ingredient fruit smoothie comes from Averie at AverieCooks.
Berries vary in their calorie content, with raspberries and strawberries being particularly light. So if calories matter to you, you may wish to head in their direction. However, each berry variety adds its own unique flavor so, while the recipe calls for mixed berries, you may wish to try single berry smoothies as well.
You can also add variety by varying the yogurt flavor.
Averie says …
Smoothies are fast, easy, healthy, and refreshing. This one has just three ingredients but you’d never know it based on how creamy, smooth, and satisfying it is. By using frozen fruit, I didn’t need to add ice which can water down smoothies. Between the naturally sweet fruit and the strawberry yogurt, I didn’t need to add sugar to the smoothie. The recipe as written will serve two, and you can freeze the second portion for later. Or get creative and make frozen yogurt popsicles with it.
As we have said before, a nonfat yogurt is not as filling as a half or whole fat one. And as there are so few ingredients, and naturally low calorie ingredients at that, you have the opportunity to use a full fat yogurt. Remember this will increase the calories so, if that matters to you, adjust the calorie-count.
