Pumpkin Butter Smoothie Just 180 Calories

This tasty recipe from Liren at KitchenConfidante is only 180 calories a serving. That’s so light you could drink the whole thing for breakfast and still have a few spare cals left over for later.

It uses pumpkin butter. You can buy this or make your own.

And if you wish to keep things seasonal then do the latter and use whatever pumpkins are available where you are.

Liren says she added …

… sprouted pumpkin seeds for extra protein, so that makes it a little more healthy, right? The truth is, it tastes more like dessert. Drizzled with honey and sprinkled with crushed candied pecans, it’s like pumpkin pie in a cup.


Recipe: Pumpkin Butter Smoothie Just 180 Calories

Serves 2; approx 180 cals each
Serves 1 to replace a meal; approx 360 cals

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz nonfat Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup Almond Milk

  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Butter

  • 1/2 frozen Banana

  • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 tablespoon Honey

To Serve (if you wish – adjust cals if that matters to you):

  • 1/2 Tbs Honey, drizzled

  • a few crushed Pecans

Blend until smooth and enjoy.
