I’m so thankful for frozen fruit that allows me to make my favorite smoothie combinations at any time of year. Take this delicious and filling peach, oat and coconut milk smoothie from Jaclyn at CookingClassy – recipe details at the end of the post, as usual.

Once you start making oat smoothies you’ll see why I’ve converted. They are so quick to prepare, they are healthy and they keep me full until lunch rolls around. I also love that my kids are crazy about them too. It’s a good way to pack some vitamins in to start their day.


Recipe: Peachy Oat n Coconut Milk Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Peaches, peeled and diced, or frozen

  • 1 cup Coconut-flavored Almond Milk blend or your milk of choice
    OR canned Coconut Milk

  • 1 (5.3 oz) Greek Yogurt – mango, peach, strawberry or coconut

  • 1 very ripe Banana, peeled, chopped and frozen

  • 1/2 cup Oats (old fashioned or quick, either is fine)

  • 1/2 cup cold Water

Blend until smooth and enjoy.
