Recipe: Low Cal Smoothie with Chia Seeds and Strawberry
Serves 1; 195 cals
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk, unsweetened
- 1 cup Strawberries, frozen
- 1 scoop your favorite vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 teaspoons Chia Seeds, for sprinkling or stirring in
Blend until smooth and enjoy. The chia seeds can either be included while blending or sprinkled on afterwards.
Some folks do not like the texture of chia seeds and, knowing how good they are for you, would rather get it over with quickly in the first mouthful or two. Sprinkling means they are only on top and not throughout the whole smoothie.
