Do you have family members who are put off by the color whenever you try to give them a healthy, good-for-them green smoothies? i know I have, so I’m always glad to have other options available to give them. Take for example this delicious orange ginger smoothie recipe where the ‘greens’ are orange, lol!
The recipe comes from Holly, writing at DessertNowDinnerLater, wanted something to fight off the impending winter bugs. She says ..
Colds, flu, sore throats, aches, and pains. They’re everywhere, and I wanted to make something that would just nip it all in the bud and prevent me from getting one single drop of it! So I chose oranges, for a huge dose of immunity-boosting Vitamin C. Ginger to take away those aches, pains, and indigestion. And of course some carrots just for some overall goodness.
