As Sally comments…
This milkshake is miraculous. It doesn’t even taste healthy!
- The yogurt makes the milkshake extra creamy
- The almond milk thins it out so it’s drinkable through a straw.
- The milkshake has a *very* slight banana taste. If using vanilla greek yogurt, vanilla almond milk, and the vanilla extract — you will mask most of the banana flavor.
I’ll be sippin’ these all summer long. Have your funfetti and drink it too.

Recipe: Delightfully Delicious Skinny Milkshake with Sprinkles For Fun
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 2 ripe large bananas, peeled, cut into chunks, & frozen
- 1/4 cup vanilla almond milk (or your choice of milk)
- 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt, any fat content)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- sprinkles
How to make it…
- Blend the frozen banana chunks and milk together until thick, creamy, and smooth – about 4 minutes.
- Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
- Add the yogurt and vanilla extract and blend for 1 minute.
- Pour into glass and stir in as many sprinkles as you’d like.
Tips:
- Sprinkles will bleed their color. Don’t stir them in too vigorously.
- You may use regular yogurt and regular milk instead.
- Make sure the bananas you slice and freeze are extra ripe – practically brown. The more ripe your bananas are, the better and creamier your milkshakes will be.
- Need vegan version? Feel free to use soy yogurt instead.
