
We usually think of peanut butter as kids’ food, as in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the lunch bag.
However, do we ever grow out of our love for peanut butter? Judging by the number of peanut butter smoothies online and in recipe books, it does not appear we do. (And that’s only smoothies; there are hundreds of other recipes using this popular product.)
Peanut butter smoothies appear to be amongst the most popular of all smoothie recipes. So, guess what? We have another peanut butter smoothie recipe for you, lol!
Already a good source of protein and healthy fat, peanut butter is combined here with hemp to boost the protein content. Hemp can be used either in protein powder form or as seeds in the form of shelled hemp hearts, that is they have the hard outer coat removed.

Recipe 1: Peanut Butter and Hemp Protein Smoothie
Serves 2; approx 360 cals each
Serves 4 as a snack; approx 180 cals each
Ingredients:
8 Tablespoons Chocolate Hemp Protein Powder*
2 Tbs Peanut Butter
2 Bananas, frozen
2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk
Ice, if necessary
Blend until smooth and enjoy.

2 Tbs Peanut Butter (8 g protein)
2 Bananas (3 g protein)
4 Tbs Hemp Hearts (22 g protein)
1-3 tsp Cocoa powder, or to taste
2 cups Cauliflower florets
Ice, to taste
