[Recipe] Strawberry Breakfast Smoothie

Strawberry Breakfast Smoothie

Another tasty strawberry smoothie. However, why do you say ‘breakfast smoothie’ I hear you ask?

Because it has many of the healthy ingredients we might choose to have for breakfast, of course! But you can have it at any other time of day, too, lol.

Increase the orange flavor by adding the (well-washed) grated zest of the orange. This is rich in flavenoids (antioxidants) plus it contains considerable amounts of calcium, copper, magnesium, vitamin A, folate and other B vitamins and dietary fiber.

The jumping off point for this smoothie was Lisa’s tasty strawberry sunrise smoothie recipe.

The orange juice gives this smoothie a wonderful bright, tangy flavor and is what really makes the smoothie special, in my opinion.
