It’s frustrating that a cold can strike at any time. Winter colds, spring colds, anytime colds. You’d think it was entirely avoidable when the temps are lovely and warm … I mean it’s a ‘cold’ after all, surely you can only catch a cold when it’s cold outside? :o/
Naw! The nasty little bugs don’t work that way and will strike at any time.
But we’ve got just what you need to hit that baby on the head – the cold that is, not someone’s head, your own or anyone else’s, lol!!!

Ginger, with its anti-inflammatory properties, is pretty well known to be a natural cold remedy … [The] first time I sucked one of these things down, I admit I felt it more than I tasted it … The tingly spices, a healthy burn, and, after I was done, I could breathe. It was fabulous.
Recipe: Spicy Ginger Smoothie – Great for Colds But Not for Wimps!
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 pinky-sized piece Ginger, peeled
a Banana (not overly ripe)
1/2 cup Almond Milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
2 teaspoons pure Maple Syrup or Honey, to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground Ginger
Pinch Cayenne pepper
1 cup Ice cubes
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
