Yes, I was surprised too! I’m sure we’ve all wondered about it at some point. And the Incredible Tracy Russell says yes, smoothies are better for us than juices. Why? You get all the nutrition from your ingredients with a smoothie, most importantly the fiber is still there. It’s hard to believe that something we cannot digest can be so good for us, lol!

Recipe: Creamy Green Smoothie
One of my favorite smoothies.
Ingredients: (Serves 2)
- 1 cup nonfat yogurt
- 1 pear
- 1 banana
- 1 orange
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup oats
- a little water if you prefer a thinner smoothie
Blend the ingredients together.
Share it with your favorite person or store in an air-tight in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
