Our tropical smoothie is tasty, low fat, yet creamy, and is rich in protein. It is based on a recipe from Denise Browning at Easy And Delish. We’ve put the details on the next page, as usual.
Enjoy our delicious smoothie as a snack or a full meal depending on your needs.
Denise says her recipe is like …
… a blissful, guilt-free dessert in a cup that is perfect for enjoying any time, including breakfast!!!
However, it would be great as a post-workout snack to replace electrolytes lost during exercise (thanks to the coconut water) and to give you the protein your muscles need. There is no banana but you can add one to the recipe, or eat it with your smoothie, if you require some fast-release carbs.
