I saw a recipe for a layered chocolate peanut butter fudge, and i’m drooling! I want some!!! But I’m being good, so I went looking for a layered chocolate and peanut butter smoothie instead. One that would satisfy the desire.
I found this one at TazaChocolate and it fits the bill beautifully. It’s tasty, rich and indulgent, and would make a lovely dessert. The details are on the next page. It’s lovely to see the layers, however if you are short of time they say …
… just combine all the ingredients in the blender and process until smooth.
Simple as that.

Recipe: Layered Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
Serves 2-4
Ingredients:
- 2 frozen Bananas, cut into pieces
- 1 cup of Milk (whatever type you prefer)
- 1 drop of Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
Blend until smooth. Divide one half of the mix between 2 tall glasses, or amongst 4 short ones.
To the remaining half of the mixture add:
- 1 package Taza Vanilla Chocolate Mexicano, chopped and melted
Blend until smooth and pour or spoon into the glasses as above.
If you like to garnish your smoothies then you could go with chocolate and sliced Banana.
