I’m at it again, i can’t find enough excuses to use chocolate and peanut butter, together, of course! Hence this recipe from Elizabeth at FrugalMomEh. It’s a thick, tasty, not-too-sweet smoothie, that’s good enough to serve for dessert. And not only that, you get some peanut butter cookies, too! *grin*
If you decide to share it with the kids (I know that might be hard, lol!) and you need just a little more sweetness, then add a dribble of maple syrup – although with the chocolate chips and the cookies it’s likely to be unnecessary. Elizabeth says …
My kids really loved eating this Smoothie Bowl, but they loved helping me make the Peanut Butter cookies we used to top it. Making peanut butter cookies with my mom was something I loved doing, but making them with my kids is even better.
If you prefer to drink your smoothies rather than eat them with a spoon, then simple add enough milk till you reach a consistency you like.
