Here’s a cool smoothie recipe where Shell Harris (smoothieweb.com) shares a tangy tummy trimmer treat.

Shell doesn’t give much nutritional detail on how this works, but it’s a welcome addition to my favorite smoothie list and gave me some good input to develop my own smoothie recipes. I expect it’ll do the same for you…

First, here’s a couple of explanatory comments & tips from Shell…

strawberry-smoothie800x600…a simple yogurt and fruit smoothie. Almost the smoothie at its most basic. We added a few things to make the flavors a little more “complicated,” such as vanilla and a squeeze of lemon, if you can handle it.

Note:

  • Sometimes I freeze fresh strawberries and cut back on the ice. You can add more or less of any of the ingredients.
  • You can use whatever type of fresh fruit you like, approximately 1-1/2 – 2 C worth.
