Here’s the second video clip from Britt (the Montrealhealthygirl). This one covers the start of her daily routine for a “Green Smoothie Detox Plan” and includes suggestions for a Breakfast Smoothie recipe.
This is aimed at restoring the body to a much healthier state by eliminating toxins that have built up during a period of less-healthy eating.
The objective here is not specifically weight-loss, but rather restoring general health, perhaps in preparation for adopting longer term dietary changes to help with reducing weight to healthier levels.

Recipe: Britt’s Breakfast Smoothie
First thing – drink 1 liter lemon water to re-hydrate
Smoothie Ingredients
- coconut water
- spinach
- 2-3 bananas
- 1-2 apples
- ginger
- option: flax seeds (but watch video for discussion)
Tips:
- Adjust ingredient quantities to suit your capacity & taste
- For smoothest, creamiest result: blend liquid & greens until pulverised, then add fruits.
- If you prefer it chunky, reverse the above order
