Here’s a subtly flavored healthy weight-loss drink for anytime of day from Naomi Imatome-Yun (heavy.com). The “standard” recipe is based on apple cider vinegar with water, stevia, and a splash of lemon.
But I like to adapt the flavor -as you can to your own taste – by adding other citrus fruits, whatever else you like. For example, some apple juice, cranberry juice, seltzer, etc. Have fun experimenting…

Naomi Imatome-Yun reports…
Apple cider vinegar has been around for a long time as a condiment, seasoning, folk remedy, and cold cure. I put some in my homemade cold remedy which tastes horrible but works better than anything I’ve found over-the counter (tea made from real ginger, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, honey).
But recently it’s become popular for its diet and beauty benefits. Some people say it does wonders for their hair and skin, and others use it as a diet aid.
There is some science behind the weight loss claims. In one study, drinking a small amount of apple cider vinegar every night lowered blood sugar. Japanese research from 2009 also found a link between vinegar consumption and lower body weight and BMI.
