Recipe: Weight Loss Program: Chocolate Mint Green Smoothie
Serves 2; approx 279 cals each, or
Serve 4 as a snack: 139 cals each
Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk, or your favorite milk but adjust calories if that matters
- 1 ½ cups fresh Spinach
- ½ cup fresh Mint leaves
- 2 ripe, brown-spotty Bananas
- ½ Avocado
- 2 Medjool Dates, pitted
OR 4 small dried dates - 2 tablespoons Cacao powder
OPTIONAL:
- 1 tbs Hemp seeds OR ground Flax seeds (adds 40 cals = 300 cals per serving / 150 as a snack – see above)
- Cacao Nibs sprinkled on top, calories not included in calcs
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
