I love almonds and almond butter and was delighted to learn that almonds are not only filling but research has shown they can curb the appetite. So maybe this could help as part of your healthy weight loss program.

We have listed this as a meal replacement smoothie, however, you may want to consider saving some to have as a filling snack mid morning or mid afternoon, whichever you need.

 

Recipe: Weight Loss Program: Banana Oat n Probiotics Meal Replacement Smoothie

Serves 2; 330 cals per serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bananas (210 cals)

  • 1/2 cup RAW rolled Oats (188 cals)

  • 1 cup plain Kefir, or Yogurt (104 cals)

  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds (53 cals)

  • Pinch Salt

  • Splash Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp + 6 cals)

  • Sprinkle Cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter (98 cals)

Topping to Serve: Granola
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
