Mmmmm! Toasted coconut, chocolate, peanut butter and banana – all my favorites, hence a double mmmmmm! – and all together in a smoothie from TheKitchenMcCabe. That and some super photography! Great job – on all fronts, Kayley! The recipe details are on the next page, so pop over to get them.
Kayley has a favorite milk she buys, but suggests the following if you cannot find the same …
If you don’t have [toasted coconut almond] milk, you could toast about 1/4 cup of shredded coconut in the oven add it to the smoothie (after it cools!) along with your choice of nut milk to blend.

Recipe: Toasted Coconut Chocolate PB n Banana Smoothie
These smoothies are kid-friendly, but don’t let that stop you enjoying them, too, lol!
Kayley says, …
I can say that it is thanks to these smoothies that our family single-handedly goes through 3 dozen bananas a week … My kids will eat bananas like little monkeys and are basically swimming in potassium.
I can’t really blame the kids for wanting one of these smoothies every day. They really seem like the most decadent treat. In reality, they are made with so many good-for-you ingredients and are even dairy and refined sugar free.
Serves 3; approx 320 cals each
Ingredients:
- 3 small Bananas, broken into pieces and frozen
- ? cup Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- large pinch of Sea Salt
