Loaded with calcium and protein, this sweet orange smoothie is from Ciara Attwell at MyFussyEater. It is just what I needed to start my dull, cloudy, dark winter day on a bright note. Not only that, but at this time of year the small, sweet oranges, like mandarins, clementines and tangerines are prominent in the stores. They are a great size to put in a child’s lunch box (and the toe of their Christmas stocking, lol!) as well as for this delicious smoothie.
Ciara adds …
With clementines being an excellent source of Vitamin C, this smoothie makes the perfect addition to your breakfast or a delicious after school snack for the kids, helping to keep all those nasty winter bugs at bay!
