 
 Loaded with calcium and protein, this sweet orange smoothie is from Ciara Attwell at MyFussyEater. It is just what I needed to start my dull, cloudy, dark winter day on a bright note. Not only that, but at this time of year the small, sweet oranges, like mandarins, clementines and tangerines are prominent in the stores. They are a great size to put in a child’s lunch box (and the toe of their Christmas stocking, lol!) as well as for this delicious smoothie.

With clementines being an excellent source of Vitamin C, this smoothie makes the perfect addition to your breakfast or a delicious after school snack for the kids, helping to keep all those nasty winter bugs at bay!
Recipe: Sweet Orange Sunshine Smoothies
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 500ml / 2 cups Milk 
- ½ cup Yogurt, plain or flavored 
- 1 Banana, fresh or frozen 
- 2-4 Clementines, peeled 
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract 
- Extra Ice, if you prefer it extra cold 
Blend and enjoy for breakfast or a tasty snack.
