I saw fresh strawberries were still available at the supermarket the other day. I got some as I thought a peanut-butter-and-jelly-type of smoothie would go down a treat with the family this week.
With school back it’s good to have a few staples on hand for when the kids arrive home. I mean, have you seen a child step off the school bus who is not starving? I never have. I know it’s always wise to have something that is quick to prepare.
There are few things quicker than a simple smoothie.
But then, this is not just for the very young. It is equally good for the young-at-heart, and anyone in between.
And if you require a protein boost after exercise then look no further than this tasty smoothie.
