I’ve been soaking my oats, and usually a date or two, overnight for the last wee while. It seems to make a creamier smoothie … or maybe it’s just my imagination, lol! But it does soften the dates and allow their sweetness to permeate the whole mix better, giving me a sweeter smoothie.
