Were you able to pick some apples to store for winter? Or, like me, do you get your supplies from the local farmers’ markets or from the store?
Whatever way you get your supplies, use some of these delicious apples with this delicious peanut butter caramel apple smoothie recipe from RWKnudsenFamily. You’ll find the recipe details at the end of the post.
First of all, you need some applesauce – buy some, or why not make it as it’s so easy to do and won’t take more than a few minutes. Simply prepare a few apples, add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon or more to taste, and a few spoonfuls of water. Heat gently, keeping an eye on it and stir to make sure it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook for 10-20 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of your apple pieces, until soft. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
