It’s funny how you, well I, can think of certain items in one category and totally miss they fit another, isn’t it? For example, I love nut butters from almond to peanut to chestnut (a recent experiment), etc. I love seeds like hemp hearts, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, but had never made the leap from nut or seed butters to tahini as being sesame butter. Duh! It would appear tahini is not just for hummus then, lol!

This recipe from DeliciouslyElla uses tahini (or almond butter) to add extra protein to this protein-rich-without-the-powders smoothie.  Ella says …
