With Thanksgiving over for another year and the Christmas rush beginning, this deliciously refreshing smoothie from Natasha at NatashasKitchen is just what we need. For you’ll find it’s full of Vitamin C, fiber and natural sugars. (And you’ll get the recipe at the end of the post.)
And don’t worry about those sugars, for with the addition of protein from the yogurt (plus an optional little healthy fat from seeds or nuts) you can avoid a sugar spike – instead, you’ll just get all the energy you need and some staying power to see you through to lunch. So you’ll have plenty of energy for the sales and busy-ness ahead!
Natasha says …
The natural sugars in fruit and honey (if using), rev up your energy levels quickly and, the Greek Yogurt makes this a powerhouse of protein to help keep your energy up.
