A beautifully creamy, healthy smoothie that is filling and will work equally well at breakfast, lunch, snack-time or as a dessert – don’t they all, lol! … ok, maybe not all of them. But this one certainly will!. It will keep well in the refrigerator if you want to have half for breakfast and the rest for an afternoon snack.
I’ve thrown in a little ginger because I love the flavor and the health benefits it adds; plus it just sounds right with mango, don’t you think?
The recipe comes from Amy who is the registered dietitian behind HappyHealthyRD – see the end of the post for the recipe details. Amy says that this smoothie is …
… sweet, creamy, and just delish. The game changer is avocado. I promise it doesn’t taste like guacamole and it adds a smoothness that reminds me of a milkshake.
