I love summer smoothies to be refreshing and without added sweetness in any form. I’d skip the honey in this one, but that’s all down to your own personal preferences. It is low in calories even with the honey.
Most of the honey we get in the stores is processed and a lot of the nutrients are destroyed, so you could swap the honey for 1 Medjool date or 3 smaller dates. You’d get the same number of calories but with added fiber and protein. It’s up to you how you play it.

With just five ingredients, all of them whole and nutritious, you’ll whip up this sweet and refreshing smoothie in a snap. Blueberries provide antioxidants, fiber, and sweetness, while flax seeds offer omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.
