Let’s build healthier habits – fight back at the temptation to snack when boredom strikes!

If you eat when you’re bored, it may improve your mood – short-term. However, overeating as a response to boredom or stress may well have medium or long-term consequences which contribute to ailments such as diabetes, obesity and other serious medical conditions.

But…I just ran across this healthy smoothie recipe from Lori Powell (at Health magazine) which should help dispel any sense of boredom.

She offers a much healthier way to escape boredom – so that instead of bringing down the bad consequences of typical snacking, we replace that with a delicious, but healthy smoothie alternative.
