You’ll love this one! (At least I sure do!).
Quick & easy to prepare, its a great kick-start to your day with this Pineapple Banana Smoothie (from Linda Ooi at rotinrice.com).
Delicious, with a subtle refreshingly tangy edge – a super pick-me-up for the morning. Love the vivid color too!
Interesting the milk substitute she uses – introduces a gentler flavor than you might expect. More sophisticated…
Here’s how Linda describes it…
It’s a glass of tropical sunshine with a slight and refreshing tanginess.
I had some frozen chunks of pineapples left in the freezer which I wanted to use up. Mixing it with banana and almond milk makes it a little “milder” and easier on the palate, especially in the mornings.
Actually I really like the way it turned out.
