I’m a sucker for desserts. And Key Lime Pie is a favorite, especially because the recipe I have is soooo easy to make. However, while trying to lose weight I need to avoid all that wonderfully buttery base … so what is a girl to do? Indulge in this delicious substitute and you won’t miss a thing – well hardly, lol!

Recipe: Key Lime Pie Smoothie
Serves 1; 197 cals
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop vanilla Protein Powder (or 100 g / 1 cup Cottage Cheese, cals the same!)
- ¾ cup unsweetened Almond Milk
- ¾ cup freshly-squeezed Lime Juice
- Zest from 1 Lime (about 2 teaspoons)
- Pinch of Salt
- 1-2 cups Ice
For topping:
- ½ of a wholegrain Graham Cracker, crushed
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
