Here’s Ken Smith’s story…
Losing weight has been on the top of my to do list since making “New Year” resolutions! I am happy to report back to you that after 2 months of making healthy shakes at home and walking, I have lost 12 pounds and went from a 40 inch waist to a 36.
The real key to lose weight is some of the slight tweaks I did to my daily diet. The homemade weight loss shakes have been the catalyst to staying on track. I will be happy to share with you exactly how I make smoothies at home using a blender. I change-up the shake each time slightly to keep it interesting.
Almonds are a good protein source with lots of vitamin E. Studies have also shown that almonds can help reduce pain and inflammation. I also have noticed less pain in my back and legs.
Apples are good for the fiber and the other fruits give my body lots of vitamin C.
The berries are great for flavor and I really like berries with the little seeds that are compact sources of vitamin and minerals as some seeds have shown to be cancer fighters. The blueberries are great for the brain and keep me thinking sharp.
