Twin sisters Trina and Tina at SisterSweetly are dedicated to health and fitness … except on Saturdays when they indulge in a little sweet treat. I’ve taken their strawberry banana cream and turned it into a delicious smoothie recipe with a hint of tang.
Strawberries and bananas are good sources of potassium; chia seeds have healthy omega-3 fats as well as being a good source of protein and fiber and you’ll get a good helping of calcium and protein from the yogurt. All-in-all a very healthy sweet treat. You’ll find the recipe details at the end.

Recipe: Healthy Strawberry Banana Sweet Treat Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen Bananas
- 1 cup Strawberries
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
- 1/2 – 1 cup Coconut Water, more or less to your preferred thickness
- juice of 1/2 Lime, or adjust to taste
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
