In the mood for a black forest cherry smoothie? Sounds too much like a dangerously temping dessert? Maybe not. This one’s a dairy-free, low-carb meal in itself, so great for detox – read on.

The best approach to stay healthy is to eat a wide variety of nutritional food. The problem is that eating a wide variety of healthy foods can too often be a challenge in our highly mobile, always on-the-go society.

Then I came across this amazing black forest cherry recipe by Tiggerusa (from greatfoodlifestyle). It’ll tantalise your taste-buds!

Full of tasty ingredients – almonds, cherries, dates and more, packed with antioxidants and other healthy nutrients!

As Tiggerusa says..

I love a good black forest shake, but haven’t had one in a long time!

This Black Forest Antioxidant Smoothie captures the great flavors of the classic milkshake, but without the dairy and extra sugar to go with them!

With the spinach, cherries, almonds, and cocoa powder it is jam packed with antioxidants and other healthy nutrients!

The nuts add healthy fat and protein, which makes the smoothie a complete meal.
