For years I did not eat breakfast as I did not have time in the morning. This was partly because I need time to fully wake up before eating and I didn’t do that until I was at school and had to! Maybe if I’d known about prepare ahead smoothies, like this one from Chungah at DamnDelicious (recipe’s at the end), and carried it with me, it would have been there when I was ready for it, instead of running to get cookies at break. Ah, well, you live and learn.

Chungah decided to make a similar change from donuts and coffee to green smoothie. Here’s what she says about being prepared …

You can also freeze individual smoothie packs in a Ziploc bag using your favorite combination of fruits. You can have a different smoothie every day, and it doesn’t get easier than throwing everything straight from the Ziploc bag to the blender! There’s absolutely no thawing needed. All you need to do is add your milk and oats when you’re ready to blend. Super easy, right?
