Make a beautifully thick, creamy, tropical-flavored, health-giving smoothie – all the things we just love about smoothies in one delicious recipe. This coconut and pineapple recipe is from Becca at AmuseYourBouche. (See the end of the post for the details.)
Both coconut and pineapple are full of good-for-you nutrients like protein, fiber, Vitamin C, B-Vitamins, iron and potassium, to name but a few. Pineapple is used as a natural allergy cure, protects the heart and aids digestion. Coconut lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, burns fat, nourishes the lining of the digestive tract and manages blood sugar. Just a few benefits to be going on with.
Not everyone likes to eat their smoothie with a spoon, preferring a straw, so Becca shares how to deal with this smoothie saying …
… this recipe makes a beautifully thick smoothie. If you’d like to make it thinner, just add a little more juice or milk.
