Recipe: Energizing Apple Beet Kale n Ginger Smoothie
Serves 2; approx 165 cals each
Ingredients:
- 2 Beets, 2 inch dia / 82 g each
- 3 medium Carrots, about 61 g each
- 1 Lemon, zest & juice
- 1 medium Apple
- 2 cups tightly packed Kale
- 4 stalks Celery
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 cups Water
Optional:
- 2 tbs Chia seeds or Flax seeds (or 1 of each)
spoonful Yogurt to garnish
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
