Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Protein Powder, for alternate protein sources, see tip 3

  • 1 cored, seeded, quartered Apple

  • 1 sliced Banana

  • 1 peeled, sliced Carrot

  • 1 cup Water

  • 1 peeled, quartered Orange

  • 2 handfuls of Spinach

Tips:

  1. Put the powder in after you add the water, because sometimes protein powder can become cakey or stuck in the bottom of the blender if you add it first.

  2. Enjoy this drink with a straw and think about what a great thing you are doing for your body.

  3. If you prefer to use alternate protein sources then substitute the protein powder with 1 cup Greek Yogurt (25g protein), or 1 cup of low fat Cottage Cheese (28g protein), 1 cup of beans varies from about 15-20g of protein – remember you won't taste the beans, they'll just add protein and nutrients. Do your own research as websites vary in calories and grams of protein per food item.
