Recipe: Dr. Oz’s Simpl(er) Green Detox Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cored
  • 2 big handfuls of spinach
  • 1/2 cup of chopped and washed parsley
  • 1 celery stick, chopped
  • 1/2-inch of ginger root, peeled
  • 1 lemon – juice only (use peel for some zest)
  • 1 medium cucumber

Tips:

  1. Use frozen fruits and ice if you want a frostier green smoothie
  2. Add water if you like a thinner consistency.
