This green breakfast smoothie – originally from Dr. Oz – is a drink rich in vitamins from the apples and spinach, and a great help to detox your body thanks to the lemon and parsley included.
Its a simpler recipe than some from Dr Oz (see end of this post for more Dr Oz recipes), and so takes less time to prepare. Since this one is probably best consumed in the morning, thats always a help if time is short…

According to Naomi Imatome-Yun…
Dr. Oz loves green smoothies and juices, and this is one of his original recipes that you can use as a base or as inspiration for making your own.
This green juice is full of vitamins and nutrients to start your day. If the green drink is too ‘earthy’ for you at first taste, then reduce the amount of parsley and bulk up your fruit content with strawberries or banana.
