I’ve been hearing a lot about the many health benefits of fermented products like kefir, so was really interested to learn it can added to my other favorite health drink … yes, you’ve got it! Healthy Green smoothies! Yum!
I have to admit I haven’t tried this recipe yet as I don’t have any kefir, but I’ve discovered I can buy it at my local supermarket and I don’t have to start making it from scratch. So guess where I’m heading in the morning …
This recipe is from Katharine Kyle at GreenThickies.com, where she says …
Adding water or coconut water kefir to my green smoothie not only increases the absorb-ability of the nutrients in the smoothies but also helps to heal and strengthen the digestive system and immune system.
