Recipe: Dana’s Carrot Ginger Turmeric Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 large ripe Banana, sliced and frozen
- 1 cup (140 g) Pineapple, frozen or fresh
- 1/2 tbsp fresh Ginger (1 small knob, peeled)
- 1/4 tsp ground Turmeric (or sub cinnamon)
- 1 cup (150 g) Carrots, chopped or grated if your blender needs it
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice (~1/2 small lemon)
- 1 cup (240 ml) Milk of choice, dairy has more protein
- 1 tbsp Flax seed, ground
- pinch of Pepper
