Recipe: Dana’s Carrot Ginger Turmeric Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 large ripe Banana, sliced and frozen
1 cup (140 g) Pineapple, frozen or fresh
1/2 tbsp fresh Ginger (1 small knob, peeled)
1/4 tsp ground Turmeric (or sub cinnamon)
1 cup (150 g) Carrots, chopped or grated if your blender needs it
1 Tbsp Lemon juice (~1/2 small lemon)
1 cup (240 ml) Milk of choice, dairy has more protein
1 tbsp Flax seed, ground
pinch of Pepper
Blend and enjoy.
