I love to start my day with a tasty, filling green smoothie but at other times I like them fruity, creamy, dessert-y. This will fit the bill nicely, thank you very much – at any time of day, lol! It’s refreshing, creamy – in a non-dairy way – filling, sweet, yet with a hint of tanginess. The chia seeds make it deliciously thick. Plus it’s filling with all that protein and fiber, not to mention all the other nutrients. Enjoy it as a large smoothie or as a small snack or dessert.

Recipe: Creamy Vegan Banana Mango Chia Smoothie
Serves 2 large or 4 small
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
- 1-1/2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk, or your milk of choice
- 2 medium Bananas, best frozen
- 2 cups Mango chunks, fresh or frozen
Blend until smooth and and creamy. Enjoy.
