Recipe: Citrus Ginger Flush
Serves 6, eight ounce glasses
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Lemon squeezed, (approximately 1.5 tablespoon lemon juice),
and one slice to garnish - 1 Tangerine, 1/2 squeezed and one slice for garnish
- 1 Tbsp Ginger root, freshly grated
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 48 ounces Water
Directions:
- Fill a large pitcher with 48 ounces cold water.
- Squeeze the tangerine and lemon into the water.
- Add ginger and turmeric and stir.
- Add ice.
- Chill for at least 15 minutes to allow all flavors to mingle.
- Add lemon and tangerine for garnish.
Make sure you stir the drink after refrigeration so that you get the benefit of every ingredient with each sip.
