Sweet chai spices, almond butter and rich coconut milk make a wonderful combination in this tasty smoothie I found on Pinterest. Unfortunately the link does not work so I cannot credit it properly.
The healthy fat in the coconut and almonds mean the recipe is filling and will serve one as a meal replacement smoothie, or 2 as a snack to chase off the mid afternoon munchies. It can be used as part of our healthy eating weight loss program.

Recipe: Chai Almond Coconut Smoothie with Chai Spice Recipe
Serves 1; approx 398 cals
Serves 2 as a snack; approx 199 calories each
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c Almond Milk
- 1/4 c canned Coconut Milk
- 1 frozen Banana
- 1 tbsp Almond Butter
- 1-2 tsp Chai Spice (see recipe below*)
- 1/2 tsp Maca powder
- 1 tbs Flax seed, ground
Optional: a little Honey
Blend until smooth and enjoy.
* Homemade Chai Spice Blend Mix
2 tsp Cardamom
1 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Allspice
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Black Pepper
Note: all spices are ground.
Mix well and store in an airtight container.
Use as recipe requires.
