It’s lovely to have winter behind us and to begin to feel the sun warming our faces. We’ve been able to shed some of our winter layers, and soon our minds will turn to shedding a few pounds in preparation for summer.

Almonds are rich in healthy fats and are great for curbing the appetite.
I used to throw overripe bananas in the freezer for making muffins. However, since I started making smoothies that has changed. Not only do I use more bananas, but if they happen to last long enough in our house to get overripe then I peel, slice and freeze them so I have the base for many a good smoothie! When it’s that simple there’s no need to waste bananas!
