Apple Cider Vinegar has to be one of the longest standing healthy drinks I know. Back when I was a kid, I can remember my dad drinking acv each morning in order to “burn off the beef”! Recipe: Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic
Ingredients:
- 10 ounces warm water
- 1-2 tablespoon/s apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger, grated (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Preparation:
- Add all of the ingredients to warmed water.
- Add optional fresh ginger and cinnamon.
- Stir and enjoy.
Tips:
- Do not use boiling water as it will destroy the vitamin C in the lemon juice.
- You can enjoy this cold if you prefer.
- You probably don’t want to consume the actual piece of ginger.
